Michael Kors, Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia will not be the only familiar faces on Season 10 of Project Runway. Our very own Gunnar Deatherage is back! You will be able to watch Louisville’s very talented Deatherage once again on Lifetime starting July 19.

Deatherage has always been creative, sewing around the age of 7, as stated in an earlier interview with louisville.com, but he has come a long way since then. From launching his own fashion label, Deatherage Designs, being featured in Italian Vogue Magazine, and styling at Chosen Salon and Boutique, Deatherage is steadily getting closer to his destination. He also designs the James Graham Brown Cancer Center’s survivor ambassador dress every year for the Kentucky Derby.

The 22-year-old, raised in Madison, Indiana, will compete among 15 other designers on Project Runway after being eliminated in the first episode of season 9.

He describes his designs as “classy” and everyday; Chanel’s classy and timeless collection being his inspiration. However, no matter what, he plans on keeping his home, Louisville, close to heart as he stated in his previous interview, “I understand that the fashion world brings designers to the big city, but Louisville is my home… No matter what I do with my fashion I plan to keep Louisville at heart.”
