    Artisan Market

You'll have to cross the mighty Ohio to visit this neat shop. Open since mid-June, Artisan Market is devoted to hand-made goods, specifically local artwork. Their inventory ranges from mosaics to pottery and dishware to jewelry.  The store in New Albany even has furniture, bath and body products, and specialty, local food items from Kentuckiana.

This Thursday, the Artisan Market invites you to its second-ever Tasting Thursday. They will feature tasty treats from Patti Cakes Catering as well as brews from New Albanian’s Bank Street Brew House. Besides delicious food and some refreshing brews, the event will feature over 90 artisans, notably KJ Mosaics, Hot off the Lathe, Vetvier, and Things on Strings.

This is the second in a series of four “after-work mixers” which run through October. Come support your local art community while enjoying some snacks and drinks this Thursday from 5-8 at Artisan Market, located at 718 Vincennes Street in New Albany, Indiana. If you can't hop across the pond this Thursday, you can check out the shop during their normal business hours: Tuesday through Friday 10 - 6, or Saturday from 10 - 4.  For more information, you can visit Artisan Market’s Facebook Page.
