Disney’s Tangled will be the second film in this summer’s “Cards Under the Stars” series this coming Friday, July 15. This critically acclaimed, offbeat retelling of “Rapunzel,” features the voices of singer and actress Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, the star of NBC’s Chuck. Pre-show entertainment will include inflatable rides, children’s activities and live music by kid favorite Heidi Howe.

The movie, which is free and open to the public, will be shown on a large inflatable screen on the Natural Science lawn next to Grawemeyer Hall. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and filmgoers are also welcome to bring their own picnic baskets, coolers, lawn chairs and blankets.

Activities will begin at about 6:30 p.m., with the movie beginning at dusk (about 9:20). Parking for the event is available off of the Oval located on Third Street.

Toy Story 3, this summer’s final film, will be screened August 5.
