    Unity Summer Camp:

    Location: Unity of Louisville, 757 South Brook Street

    Age Group: 5-13 years

    Description: Camp goers will participate in numerous activities, games, and a field trip to Bernheim centered around the theme of "Enchanted Forest". Life skills such as teamwork, integrity, creativity, and respecting the body are taught through play. Heidi Howe is one of the youth directors.

    Cost: $60 suggested love donation, includes lunch and snacks

    Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts:

    Location: KMAC, 715 Main Street

    Age Group: Children from Kindergarten to Middle School

    Description: Focus on hands-on projects including fiber art, painting, weaving, folk art, and sculpture. 

    Cost: $174 or $149 for members

    Dates: June 13-17 (K-1), June 27-July 1 (grades 1-2), July 11-15 (grades 4-5) 10-3pm each day

    Special Event: July 25-July 29 9:15-3:15, middle school-aged children will learn from professional local artists at Blackacre State Nature Preserve located off Tucker Station Road. A hands-on creative camp centered around fiber art, cartooning, metal repose, and mosaic lanterns.

    Looking for Lilith Summer Drama Camp:

    Location: Crescent Hill Pres. Church (142 Crescent Ave.) or La Casita Center (230 Woodbine St.)

    Age Group: 5-14

    Description: LFL is an ensemble theatre company inspired by the myth of Lilith. The company's mission is to present plays that re-examine history through women's perspectives. Campers will explore the acting basics: improvisation, creating a character, working with scene partners, and collaborating play writing. A teens only session is offered July 25-29 (would be great for young-woman empowerment!).

    Cost: $150/week for 1st camper, $115/week for siblings

    Dates: July 18-22 (Crescent Pres. Church) or August 1-5 (230 Woodbine St.) 9-12:00 for 5-8 year-olds, 1-4:00 for 9-14 year-olds.
