Body Awareness Week gets turned on its head for a family when a photographer shows up in the Looking for Lilith-presented Body Awareness, which opens tonight.

Body Awareness will go on May 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, and 16 at 7:30 p.m. A matinee will happen on May 17 at 2 p.m. All performances will happen in the Thrust Theatre on the U of L campus at 2314 S. Floyd St

Tickets for each show are $18 for adults, $15 for students, and $15 for senior citizens. All tickets for the May 12 show are $10 each. All tickets can be purchased at the Looking for Lilith website.

Body Awareness Week has arrived on the campus of Shirley College, and Phyllis, a professor, is ready for it - or so she thinks. During the week, a photographer of female nudes comes to the campus and stirs things up within Phyllis and her family. Themes of sexuality, body image, relationships, and others are explored during this comedy.

Playwright Annie Baker won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for drama for Body Awareness

More information on the show can be found at the Looking for Lilith website.
