My son, Jack loves music. But I can only take so many renditions of sappy kid’s music before wanting to lock myself in a closet.  The solution?  Bandwagon Music Class!  I took Jack to a free demo class and he loved every second of it.  I had a blast as well, but I’m even more stoked by the prospect of finding something my baby and I can enjoy together.

Instructor Heidi Howe fills her music classes with a sense of humor and song choice that will even get mom and dad humming a tune.  She seamlessly flows though folk and traditional songs and also adds a mix of popular artists like Counting Crowes, Janis Joplin and the Beatles.  Most of her classes also include fun rhythm exercises as well as Jack’s favorite- experimentation with musical instruments.

Classes are located at Mama’s Hip on 1559 Bardstown Road and are Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.  Unlike a lot of other music classes in town, Bandwagon allows you to pay just for the classes you attend.  The cost is only $7 and the first class is free!  Check out www.weteachthearts.com for more information
