    The Green Building | IF Girls Rise: Reception
    Support aspiring young leaders! Louisville Girls Leadership empowers young women to be doers and changers on both a local and global level.     Louisville Palace | Smashing Pumpkins
    After a 2015 that witnessed the Smashing Pumpkins' first acoustic trek and a joint jaunt with Marilyn Manson, Billy Corgan's group will head back out on the road this spring for the In Plainsong tour, which promises an "acoustic-electro evening" of music. Liz Phair will open.

    Freedom Hall, Kentucky Expo Center | Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic
    Some of the nation’s finest high school basketball talent takes the court at the Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic. First held in 1973, the Classic is the oldest high school all-star game in the nation and is known for showcasing players who have moved on to stardom at the collegiate and professional levels.

    Evan Williams Bourbon Experience | Murder Mystery Event
    Come to the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience for a night of laughter, suspense and, of course, murder. For the last 20 years, actor and comedian Kevin O'Brien has been performing his murder mysteries all over the world. Begin the night with a cocktail hour in the Loft of the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience where you'll enjoy 2 straight Bourbon samples. Mingle with the actors and have a chance to be assigned a new identity for the evening and become a suspect in the crime! Choose to enjoy your 2 complimentary cocktails in the Loft during cocktail hour, or in the Speakeasy as the mystery unfolds.

    The RRFM is based on the gift economy—where goods, services, food, skills, talents, discussions, workshops and many other things that would benefit the community are free to take and give away.     Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft | KMAC Couture Runway Art Show
    This event offers a unique way to experience KMAC by featuring and supporting emerging and established regional artists, costumers, designers, and milliners and the extraordinary presentation of original couture pieces of wearable art and conceptual fashion designs. For the first year, audience members will be able to text to vote for their favorite design.

    21C Museum Hotel | Cook to the Root! Cocktail Reception 
    Calling all chefs, cooks, culinary students, Fresh Stop Market chef liaisons and cooking enthusiasts! 21C is seeking volunteers to provide on-site cooking demonstrations for our ten bi-weekly Fresh Stop Markets, located in fresh food-insecure neighborhoods, during the 20-week season that kicks off in June. They will be offering complimentary beet-infused tequila cocktails, beet gelato from Gelato Gilberto and farm-fresh bites prepared by Proof on Main’s executive chef, Mike Wajda.

    Flat12 Bierwerks | Cancer Sucks, Donuts Don’t 5k Donut Challenge
    This closed-course 5k run/walk will take you along the river with various donut stops along the way. Run…. eat….run…..eat……run……eat……finish!
