    Bit to Do

Special June Pit Bull adoption campaign going on at Louisville Metro Animal Serv
    Print this page

For the month of June you can adopt a special Pit Bull buddie at Louisville Metro Animal Services (LMAS) with $30 off of their adoption fee. The shelter is very overcrowded at this time and Pit Bulls are usually the last to get adopted and therefore are at highest risk of euthanasia.

Foster families or adopters are greatly needed at this time for LMAS dogs due to the severe overcrowding or many animals will have to be euthanized due to no space. Please go to the Louisville Metro Animal Services Petfinder site to see some of the pets available for adoption or in need of foster families. Save a life and adopt.

To see all the adoptable pets at Louisville Metro Animal Services go to their section on the Petfinder website here.

For more information on this week’s featured pets contact Louisville Metro Animal Services at: 502-473-PETS (7387), or by email: Petfinder@louisvilleky.gov

For more information on adopting or fostering a pet go to the Metro Animal Services website here.

Metro Animal Service’s Animal House Adoption Center is located at 3516 Newburg Rd., Louisville, KY 40218.
