With gas prices getting downright uncomfortable ($3.69 on average around town) and warm weather just around the corner, the time is right to make sure your two-wheeled transportation is ready for action. Bellarmine University will hold a bike workshop tomorrow, Friday, April 1, to help you make sure your first ride of the season don’t fall flat.
The clinic will include free mechanical advice and assistance, custom bike fitting and
health- and traffic-related info. There will also be a free raffle with bike-related
prizes. Don’t have a bike yet? This is the perfect opportunity to find out what kind would suit your lifestyle.
The event is rain or shine, either at the new parking lot behind the Sport, Recreation and Fitness Center (SuRF) just west of Knights Hall or, in the event of inclement weather, at the SuRF’s indoor tennis courts, just steps away.
The workshop, presented by Bellarmine Physical Therapy and Bicycling for Louisville, will run from 2 to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. For more information, contact James Mountain at
