A hero tries to save innocent citizens during the French Revolution in The Scarlet Pimpernel, which Floyd Central theatre arts will present this weekend.
The Scarlet Pimpernel will take place on Mar. 8, 14, and 15 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Matinees will happen on Mar. 9 and 16 at 2 p.m. each day. All performances are to go on at Floyd Central High School, located at 6575 Old Vincennes Road in Floyds Knobs, IN.
Tickets for each show are $6-$18 per person. All tickets can be purchased at the door or by going to the Floyd Central theatre website.
Surprises, disguises, and musical comedy are in store for The Scarlet Pimpernel. An English aristocrat must go to France and rescue innocent citizens before they are sent to the guillotine. To accomplish this, he will go on an adventure that leads him and his men through the French revolution and, through utilize tricks, determination, and secret identities.
Following The Scarlet Pimpernel, Floyd Central will present Pride and Prejudice. That production will go on in April.
