The boys are getting sent off to WWII in Sanders Family Christmas, including one member of the Sanders family.  Before that happens, however, the family will perform Christmas carols and other classic holiday tunes at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, home of Reverend Oglethorpe.

Christmas classics to be performed include Joy to the World, Angels We Have Heard on High, Christmas in the Mountains, and Christmas Time's a Comin.

The Sanders Family Christmas cast includes Cary Wiger as Pastor Mervin Oglethorpe, Paul Kerr as Burl Sanders, Rita Thomas as Vera Sanders, Janet Essenpreis as June Sanders, Tina Jo Wallace as Denise Sanders, Bill Hanna as Dennis Sanders, and Scott Bradley as Uncle Stanley.  Bekki Jo Schneider directed the Connie Ray/Alan Bailey-created production.

During Sanders Family Christmas's run, Derby Dinner Playhouse will also present the children's theatre production of A Velveteen Rabbit Christmas.  Performances for that show will begin on Nov. 19.  More information on any Derby Dinner show can be found at its website.
