Off and on for over 50 years, The Monarchs have been entertaining our hometown. Performing up and down the East coast, recording hit songs, and opening for acts like Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons are only some of The Monarchs many accomplishments. According to their website, “a few of the faces have changed but the group has vigilantly preserved their unmistakable style. If you first heard The Monarchs in the '60s, or if you hear them 20 years from now, you'll hear the smooth vocal and instrumental sounds that made them what they are today, The Monarchs, Louisville's Musical Ambassadors.”
Just next week, The Monarchs will continue entertaining the Louisville area; they will perform “A Tribute to Rock, Rhythm & Doo Wop” at the Derby Dinner Playhouse on Monday, September 21st. The doors and buffet open at 6pm, and the concert starts at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are just $31 for the “back” and $38 for the “front.” Remember, the buffet is included in the ticket price.
