The Rescue The Rescuers event that was scheduled for Saturday, June 1 had to be canceled due to impending severe weather being forecasted to come in during the event. The event has been rescheduled to next Saturday, June 8, 5 pm to 9 pm at New Albany's Farmer's Market on 202 East Market Street.
Many pet rescues will be on hand with adoptable pets that you can meet and pet vendors to check out. A raffle fundraiser will also be held to raise much needed funds to help rescues out with expenses. For more information go to the event's site here.
