Buck Creek Valley Rescue (BCVR) is a 501c3 non profit equine rescue located in Elizabeth in Southern Indiana. They operate as one of the largest equine rescues in our region. 34 horses are currently residing at BCVR.
This facility provides a very much needed service to the community by providing for abused, neglected, and unwanted horses, looking out for their welfare and if possible re-homing them in responsible and caring new homes. BCVR also educates the public on equine welfare issues.
They are in danger of losing the privately held property they are currently operating on and need your help to purchase the property so the rescue can continue to operate there. The rescue is attempting to obtain grant money from various sources so as to be able to purchase the land. In order to show that they are a needed and necessary organization in our area that provides a service that is essential and necessary for the welfare of the horses they take in they are asking the public to sign their petition in support of their efforts. If you support their mission to help the needy horses that they care for please sign their petition and show your support of keeping Buck Creek Valley Rescue going by going to their petition site here and signing it.
