    Bit to Do

ACT, SAT, GED – all the abbreviations have always confused me (and I should probably straighten out those last two so I stop telling people I got a 1500 on my GED). But regardless of what they stand for, most over the age of 12 know that each are important in some way and that a student taking any test should be prepared.

Got a high school student in your life who is already stressing a bit about getting ready for such a challenge? Got one that SHOULD be?

The Louisville Free Public Library hosts two (almost) simultaneous sessions at the main branch (10a-12p) and Crescent Hill branch (10:15a-12:15p) this Saturday morning to give those facing the upcoming ACT test a leg up.

The sessions promise to help attendees learn how to make “the best choices on all sections” of the test, plus will teach stress-reducing exercises to help keep kids calm and collect on test day.

Sign up for either session is required. Call 502-574-1611 for the main branch session or 502-574-1793 for Crescent Hill.
