If you felt like you didn’t get your fill during Craft Beer Week, don’t fret. Louisville Independent Business Alliance and Slugger Field are bringing you the 7th Annual Louisville Brewfest on Friday, September 25, from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. You only have to wait one more week! But if you are still feeling the lingering after effects of the past week, still, don’t worry. You have a week to recover before diving back in!

There will be 22 different local and regional breweries and wineries, each with multiple brews or wines to sample. Against The Grain, New Albanian, Upland, West Sixth and Old 502 are just a few. That’s a pretty darn good lineup! And don’t forget to check out the rotating beer taps with the likes of Kentucky Ale’s Pumpkin Barrel, NABC’s Ancient Rage, Upland’s Beard of Paradise and more. A full list can be found on LIBA’s website.

Mayor Fischer has also teamed up with Goodwood Brewing Company to create a limited edition Irish Stout for Brewfest attendees. Besides craft beer and local food, LIBA is incorporating another element that Louisville does so well. Artwork. Using bottle caps and various other items provided by LIBA, attendees will join together to create a piece of art showcasing their love of Louisville. The silent auction and Brewseum will return this year, too.

Admission is $5 and includes a souvenir cup. Drink and food tickets are $1 each. A 12oz fill of beer or 4oz of wine is 4 tickets. Samples will be offered for 1 ticket.  Food prices will vary by vendor, and soft drinks will be available, too. Louisville Pure Tap will also be offering water bottles for $2, or you can fill your own up for free! So remember, stay hydrated. Your body will be thank you promptly on Sunday morning.

Regular Admission tickets can be bought at the door and won’t sell out. However, VIP tickets may and probably will. VIP tickets are $45 and include access to exclusive beers, special gifts made by local artisans and larger pours in a commemorative festival glass. Advanced tickets are available via LIBA’s website. Designated drivers get free admission.

Last pour will be at 9:45 p.m., so make sure to get one last fill! Think you can try one of everything?
