    Bit to Do

Halloween falls on a Monday this year. Boo (not the scary “BOO!” but rather the disappointing and flat “boo…”). That means people who work the traditional M-F week will have to resort to dressing up and partying like a vampire this weekend instead.

If you have the costume and only need a place to go, head down to the Vernon Club, 1575 Story Avenue, on Friday, Oct. 28th where the Kentucky School of Art is hosting its 2nd Annual Halloween Party. After all, wasn’t Vincent Van Gogh one of the original slashers?!

From 7 – 11 p.m. you can listen to music by Azns N Bnzs, treat yourself to refreshments and a cash bar, and hope to win the costume contest.

$10 at the door, $7 for students. Bring your i.d. in order to receive a lovely wristband that is guaranteed to compliment any costume.

    About Julie Gross

I’m originally from Ohio, but have been a Louisvillian for half my life. I divide my time between hubby, 3 kids, too many pets, and the 930 Art Center. When I'm not, you'll find me running the trails in Cherokee or Jefferson Memorial Forest.
