Royal watchers, get ready for a visit to Louisville by Prince Charles and Camilla next month. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall plan to visit the United States for a four-day itinerary that includes activities in Washington, D.C. and Louisville promoting the relationship between the UK and the U.S. The trip will focus on historic sites and socially conscious projects.
The pair will visit Washington first, from March 17th to March 19th, where they will commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War and honor President Lincoln at a number of ceremonies.
March 20th, the royals will arrive in Louisville and begin their tour of a number of community and charitable projects and initiatives. The Prince plans a speech to city leaders on environmental and health issues, while Camilla will visit an unnamed youth food literacy project (is it Louisville Grows??).
The couple will return home after their day in Louisville.
