A season of switching bodies, Broadway songs, and creating the perfect script, among other things, is coming during the Wayward Actors 2014-15 theater season.
During the season, Wayward Actors Company will present four shows: Moonlight and Magnolias (playing now), The Man From Earth (October), An Evening With Broadway's Greatest Love Songs (January 2015), and Prelude to a Kiss (March-April 2015).
Wayward will open the season with Moonlight and Magnolias, a show about three filmmakers ad writers who rework and form a script to one of Hollywood's greatest movies, all while locked in a room.
Moonlight and Magnolias is taking place at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road, now until Aug. 17.
The Man From Earth will follow, featuring a professor who must retire and move on before his seemingly unbelievable secret is discovered. Watch the truth be debated and possibly found out Oct. 4-13 at The Bard's Town.
Going into the new year is Wayward's An Evening With Broadway's Greatest Love Songs, a salute musical-revue style to the many forms of love from the Great White Way's greatest shows. The performances will go on Jan. 16-25 at the Mex Theater in the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 W Main Street in downtown Louisville.
Finally, Wayward will end its season with performances of Prelude to a Kiss, about a newly married couple and an older man who have their lives rocked when the bride and the older man switch bodies. Prelude will happen March 27-April 5 at the Mex.
