Foreigners, sailors in the South Pacific, Steel Magnolias blooming, and much more will take place during Shelby County Community Theatre's 2013-14 season.
During the season, Shelby County Community Theatre (SCCT) will present the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific (playing now), the traditional A Christmas Carol (Nov.-Dec.), the comedy Nunsense (Feb. 2014), the devious The Foreigner (April 2014), and the good time Steel Magnolias (June 2014).
As part of the Upstairs at 801 series, SCCT will also have the dramatic Doubt: A Parable (Oct.), the musical The Reginald Bareham Variety Show (Nov.), and the vignettes of Almost, Maine (March 2014).
Finally, the youth production, Jack and the Giant, will occur in September.
All performances are to happen at Shelby County Community Theatre, located at 801 Main Street in Shelbyville, KY.
Season tickets are available in a variety of packages, including for the five mainstage shows, the youth production, and a five show flex package, ranging in price from $45 to $68. Single tickets, meanwhile, are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 62 and over, and $10 for students. Dinners, which take place on opening night with all mainstage shows will be $20 per person.
