Crimes, murder, scoundrels, the I.R.S., and a wedding singer...all part of an intriguing 2012-2013 season for Clarksville Little Theatre.

During the 2012-2013 season, Clarksville Little Theatre will present five shows: Dial "M" for Murder (September), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (November), Crimes of the Heart (January 2013), Love, Sex, and the I.R.S. (March 2013), and The Wedding Singer (May 2013).  All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery Avenue in Clarksville, IN.

Season tickets for the five shows range from $32-$60, depending on the person.  Season ticket information can be obtained at Clarksville Little Theatre or by calling 812-283-6522.

CLT opens the season with Dial M for Murder in September.  Tony Vendice, who is after his wife's mother, tries to arrange the perfect murder on his wife.  However, the one hired for the murder is murdered himself, and Tony's wife stays alive.  As a result, Tony tries to have his wife convicted of said murder.

Ron Johnson will direct the Frederick Knott-created production.  Auditions for the show will run in July.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will follow in November.  Two con-men, on the French Riviera, look to con rich women out of their money.  The men then find themselves in a triangle of sorts when they set their sights on a lovely young women.  Mike Seely will direct this Jeffrey Lane/David Yazbek production.

Crimes of the Heart will be the first production of 2013, taking place in January.  Three sisters in Hazlehurst, MS, find themselves in various situations of love, trying to escape their pasts and move into the future.  Russell Spencer will direct the Beth Henley-created production.

March, near tax time, will be the appropriate time for Love, Sex, and the I.R.S.  A fake married couple learn the I.R.S. will audit them.  As a result, the "couple" must pretend to be married.  One slight problem:  the man of the couple is engaged...to a woman who is having an affair with the woman of the couple.  Alan Weller will direct the Billy Van Zandt/Jane Milmore-created production.

Finally, the 80s return in the form of The Wedding Singer, which runs in May.  Robbie Hart is a former rock god turned wedding singer who is left at the alter of his own wedding.  Following disasterous performances at other wedding parties, Julia comes into his life.  However, she's about to marry an unscrupulous Wall Street investor.  John Finnegan will direct the production, which Matthew Skiar, Chad Beguelin, Tim Herlihy, and Chad Beguelin created.

All shows are subject to be changed or have different dates.  More information on Clarksville Little Theatre can be found at its website.
