Classic and new musicals, comedies, and more are to entertain audiences during Clarksville Little Theatre's 2014-15 theater season.
During the season, Clarksville Little Theatre will present five shows: The Addams Family (September), You Can't Take it With You (November), Come Blow Your Horn (January 2015), Laura (March 2015), and 9 to 5 the Musical (May 2015). All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery in Clarksville, IN.
Season tickets can be purchased at $60 for adults, $48 for teens, and $32 for children. A season ticket order form can be found at the Clarksville Little Theatre website.
Clarksville Little Theatre opens its season with The Addams Family, that famous family of darkness with a daughter who has fallen for a more "normal" boyfriend. Secrets, nightmares, and dinners may get hilariously intertwined in this musical that runs Sept. 12-20.
Taking the season into the late fall is You Can't Take It With You, a show featuring two families of opposite personalities and lifestyles and the children that have fallen in love with each other. The production goes on Nov. 7-15.
Going into the new year, the Neil Simon-penned Come Blow Your Horn will take place, focusing on a bachelor with time, money, and plenty of women. When his younger brother moves in, all their parents can do is just hope and pray. The show goes on Jan. 16-24.
Laura will follow in the spring, which deals with a murder investigation. During this time, the investigator falls in love with Laura, the murdered victim. However, Laura is actually alive, and the evidence starts pointing in her direction. The love-and-murder story runs March 13-21.
Clarksville Little Theatre will then end its season with the 9 to 5, a show with Dolly Parton songs and three overworked women who look to make women-friendly changes at the office. That production will go on May 8-16.
