If the Mayans were correct, this show could be of the utmost importance.  At least, it'll be an entertaining evening when Alley Theater presents Some Things You Need to Know Before the World Ends starting on Thursday.

Some Things will take place on Dec. 29, 30, Jan. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  All performances will take place at the Alley Theater, located in The Pointe at 1205 E. Washington Street in the Butchertown section of Louisville.

Advance tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for students, senior citizens, and military members.  Day of show tickets are $2 extra.  All advance purchases can be made at the Alley Theater website.  Day of show tickets can be purchased at the door.

The production is based in a post-apocalypse church, with Reverend Eddie giving his final, extremely important speech.  During the speech, however, Saint Paul and Saint Timothy will come out to discuss women and religion.  Also, death takes over as he plays basketball.

Joey Arena directed the Larry Larson and Levi Lee-created production.

More information on Some Things You Need to Know Before the World Ends can be found at the Alley Theater website.
