Poorcastle, a three-day festival showcasing some of the finest local music Louisville has to offer, will take place July 10-12. They have booked 33 bands for a weekend of great music and good times at Apocalypse Brew Works. And maybe the best thing about it? It’s only costs $5 per day. Or $10 for the whole weekend.

Poorcastle’s proceeds will go to benefit Crescent Hill Radio, a nonprofit radio station that plays local music all the time.

Poorcastle released its full lineup in April, and yesterday they released the schedule. Along with the main performances, patrons will also find Poorcastle's B.Y.O.G. (Bring Your Own Guitar) busking tent.

Doors open each day at 2 p.m. and music begins promptly at 3 p.m. Patrons will receive a wristband when they arrive, so re-entry is allowed. Perhaps you can join in the fun and make a pit stop at one of the fine local establishments nearby like Apocalypse Brew Works (it’s literally right there), Big Al’s Beeritaville, Hilltop Tavern, Silver Dollar and more.
