Actors make hilarious to salvage, or destroy, a struggling show in Noises Off, the first production of the 50th anniversary year for Actors Theatre.
Noises Off performances will take place at each day (except Mondays) at various times from Sept. 5-22. All performances are to happen in the Pamela Brown Auditorium at Actors Theatre, located at 316 W Main Street in downtown Louisville.
Tickets for each show are between $35 and $59, depending on the seat and date of the performance. All tickets can be purchased at the Actors Theatre box office, the Actors Theatre website, or by calling Actors Theatre at 502-584-1205. Keep in mind that the show contains adult language and contact and is recommended for audiences 15 and older.
Noises Off is essentially a play within a play with all the shenanigans that go on in front and behind the scenes. As group of actors take to the stage to perform a seriously under-rehearsed sex farce, slapstick and constant friction among the group threaten to derail the whole thing.
Michael Frayn created Noises Off, which Associate Artistic Director Meredith McDonough directed for Actors Theatre.
More information on the show can be found at the Actors Theatre website.
