Finding hope after tragedy is one of the themes of the Humana Festival presentation brownsville song (b-side for tray), which opens Friday.
Brownsville song (b-side for tray) will take place at various times and dates from Mar. 14-April 6. The 1 hour, 40 minute show will take place in the Pamela Brown Auditorium at Actors Theatre, located at 316 W Main Street in downtown Louisville.
Tickets vary for each show and can be purchased at the box office, calling the box office at 502-584-1205, or going to the Actors Theatre website.
Tragedy struck a family in a Brooklyn neighborhood during brownsville song (b-side for tray). Tray is only 18 when violence strikes him down. Now, his family must cope with the tragedy, find each other, and somehow find hope among the chaos.
Kimber Lee created the production, which Meredith McDonough directed for Actors Theatre.
