    Another series comes to Louisville.com: Parents of Preschoolers in Louisville! Preschoolers: grab your parents and have them take you on some adventures throughout Kentuckiana!

    Happy Halloween! Hope you and your family have a great time in Louisville and Kentuckiana enjoying trick or treating, or whatever you may have planned for the evening. It will be quite cold, so remember that! There are a few more indoor options you can check out. Here’s an event happening at National College on Dixie Highway:

    On Friday, October 31st, National College, located on 4205 Dixie Highway in Louisville, is hosting a community Trick-or-Treat event from 1:00p to 5:00p. Bring your kids in their costumes for candy and a fun and safe indoors Halloween experience. For more information, call 502-447-7634. Also check into some local candy shops and your local libraries to see if there is any more fun going on today!

    Saturday, November 1st from 5pm-6pm

    Shine Music is having a birthday party featuring  a concert with Uncle Gerry from the Music Together music cds. It will be held in the youth room in the Family Life Center at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, at the corner of Douglass Blvd and Bardstown Road. According to the party information, there is plenty of parking in the alley behind the church. The doors will open at 4:45pm and donations of $10/family are suggested. They will go to benefit the Happy Birthday Park. The Happy Birthday Park is a new park currently being developed that honors Mildred and Patty Hill, sisters from Louisville, KY who changed education and who also wrote "Good Morning to You" which is now sung all over the world as "Happy Birthday"!  This concert will be very participatory and engaging for children and all ages are welcome, so bring your friends. Market between Shelby & Clay. It's the little green brick building.

    Heartland Music Together Ten Year Birthday Party Celebration

    You're invited to help Heartland Music Together celebrate their 10th anniversary of bringing music to Louisville families and the community! The teachers and everyone involved are excited to feature live music from Uncle Gerry Dignan, beloved Music Together recording artist. They will also share door prizes, crafts for the kids, food, professional family studio photos, storytime from Once Upon a Birthday: Storybook Parties, favorite moments from music class, and lots of fun for everybody! All are welcome - bring friends and family! Location:

    In addition, Heartland Music Together is ending their fall semester, and with that comes lots of opportunities to visit a free music demo class with your music-maker! Click here to see the current list of classes to check out all over Kentuckiana and Shelbyville. Heartland Music Together also provides a Holiday Interm session, and those classes held in December are holiday interim drop-in classes. There is a $15 fee for one child, and $5 for a sibling. Of course they always welcome first-time visitors to a free class, if they sign up through the demo scheduler. See more details here.     Make some music this weekend after a busy and cold Halloween night with your toddlers and preschoolers! Don't forget to turn your clocks back on Saturday night!
