Cincinnati duo Over the Rhine is coming to Kentucky Center's Bomhard Theater this Friday, December 10 at 8:00 p.m. They will appear with songwriter Sarah Siskind, who has just released a collection of original holiday songs, All Come Together Now.

OTR began as a four-piece, but now the husband-wife team of Linford Detwiler and Karin Bergquist form the core of the band with various players and guests. They have also toured as "adjunct" members of the band Cowboy Junkies.

Guitarist, bassist, and pianist Detwiler and vocalist/guitarist Bergquist were recently named by Paste Magazine as among the "World's Greatest Living Songwriters," and they've also toured with some of the best -- Bob Dylan and John Prine. Their forthcoming album is a fan-funded project called The Long Surrender, produced by Grammy winner Joe Henry who also co-wrote two of the songs, and it features a duet with Lucinda Williams.

Below, OTR performs the song "All I Ever Get for Christmas is Blue" from their holiday album, Snow Angels, featuring the stunning vocals of Karin Bergquist.

Tickets are $27.50 and $32.50 for reserved seating. Standard tickets are available online, by phone (502.584.7777, 502.562.0730 TTY), and in-person at The Kentucky Center box office.
