This morning local country music radio station Q 103.1 announced its lineup for the second ever Q Fest, taking place at Freedom Hall. Last year’s lineup included Justin Moore, Thomas Rhett, Parmalee and Raelynn. This’s year event was bumped up to five acts and will keep the same high level of country music.

Gary Allan, Lee Brice, Kip Moore, A Thousand Horses and Canaan Smith are on the lineup for Q Fest on October 10 at Freedom Hall.

Q 103.1 says ticket info will be coming soon.

This makes for two big country music nights at Freedom Hall in the coming months. The other big event is on August 21 and is a part of the Kentucky State Fair. Billed as Barrel & Boots Music Festival, the Kentucky State Fair chose to book a few middle tier bands this year instead of one major one, like past performers Lady Antebellum or Rascal Flatts. Barrel & Boots will be headlined by Montgomery Gentry. John Michael Montgomery, Raelynn, Eric Paslay, Kelsie May and Craig Campbell are also slated to play. Tickets to Barrel & Boots cost 37 dollars, with Kentucky State Fair entry included.
