Finally, My Morning Jacket fans have some new music to sink their teeth into. Today, Louisville's biggest band released "Big Decisions," a boisterous tune that is perfect for the live stage.

"Big Decisions" begins with a quick drum beat and soon then after power chords familiar to an MMJ song. It wouldn't be essential MMJ without a few Jim James howls so there's a few in there too.  There will be many people calling for this song to be played on the Forecastle stage and it should be because it is loud, powerful, and it highlights many of MMJ's best parts--strong vocals, keys, steel guitar, and thumping drums.

Look for more details on MMJ's new album coming soon. James said to Rolling Stone in an interview last December that MMJ was working on two albums, one slated for April and the other for 2016. He even noted that he could be releasing another solo album in 2016.
