    The New Vintage
Kicking off the first annual Louisville Music Holiday Party are two great local bands. The Instruction has opened for reputable bands like The Black Keys and The Features, but the real feature here is Frederick the Younger; an emerging local band gaining attention in the community for their catchy vintage grooves. Jenni Cochran and Aaron Craker are fascinating live producing a sound that’s something like a late 60s Jefferson Airplane meets The Shins.

    Headliners Music Hall
This show is likely to sell out. This old timey spirit puts on one hell of show! Rockabilly, country, bluegrass, ragtime, whatever, Pokey LaFarge encompasses all the great American roots that seem to wash away a sense of time and space. Must be something in the water.

    The New Vintage
We were all bummed when the Massachusetts band cancelled their show at this past Forecastle. They’re making it up to us now in a more intimate setting.
