    Bit to Do

    All the Great Books (Abridged)
    Print this page

Speed read (or watch) All the Great Books (Abridged) with Alley Theater starting tomorrow.

All the Great Books (Abridged) follows the tradition of The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) and Star Wars in 60 Minutes or Less. Alley Theater brings together the greatest works of Dickens, Longfellow, Proust, Confucius and others into one 98-minute or less show. Audience members can expect to be entertained with a fast-paced performance, comedy, improvisation and possible audience interaction. Perhaps, as well, audience members may also learn a thing or two about the great books.

Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor created the production, which will take place at Alley Theater, 633 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Performances are to happen May 7-9 and 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for senior citizens, military members and students. All tickets can be purchased at the door or at the Alley Theater website.

More information on the show or the theater can also be found at the Alley Theater website.
