While Louisville does a great job nurturing its own local music scene, there are a few bands from other parts of the country that it cannot get enough of. One of those bands is Moon Taxi. You will nearly always find a Louisville date on Moon Taxi's tour schedule and this time around the Nashville band will hit Headliners Music Hall will a double dose and play two shows on December 4-5.

Moon Taxi has played any sort of venue in this city from Hideaway Saloon to Headliners, WFPK Waterfront Wednesday, and Forecastle Festival (3 times). Staying in town for two nights is a testament to the strength of Moon Taxi's fans in town. Many of their recent club shows have sold out.

    J. Roddy Walston & The Business and Lucero have also played two straight nights this year at Headliners.

This will be the first opportunity for Moon Taxi fans in Louisville to hear some news songs live in concert. Moon Taxi will be releasing its fourth album entitled Daybreaker on October 2. They have released three songs, "Year Zero," "Make Your Mind Up," and "All Day All Night," to iTunes, Spotify, and other sites.
