    Bit to Do

    King John

Alley Theater presents a unique take on Shakespeare's King John, which will go on this weekend.

King John will take place on Mar. 20, 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All performances are to happen at Alley Theater, located at 633 W Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military members, and $12 for students. Due to limited seating, reservations are strongly recommended and can be made at the Alley Theater website.

King John is a man of questionable leadership in England. He was brought to power under controversial circumstances, and has no problems starting wars if he has to defend his throne. If need be, he may even resort to murder.

Alley Theater will present Shakespeare's work in a unique way. There will be five actors performing with no props and no set.

Following this production, Alley Theater will open its first-ever Superhuman festival. That festival, full of short and feature-length plays, will take place beginning next week.
