Well, their name is definitely misleading. They don't play folk music and they're not from Nebraska. They play rock music and they're from Kentucky.

 

 

Do yourself a favor and go see Boner City. Their energy is off the charts. One of the most interesting and eccentric groups in town.

The contemporary R&B artist from Louisville is playing a sold out hometown show after making it “big,” if you will. Tiller has received major label attention and his album, Trapsoul, took the number 11 spot on the Billboard 200 chart in 2015

The Brooklyn band claims to play “deceivingly clever rock with a relentless, punk-as-fuck aesthetic.” If you like White Reaper and Speedy Ortiz check this show out, you won’t be disappointed.

The 22 year-old rapper hails from Long Beach, California and is a component to hip hop group, Cutthroat Boys. The rapper’s debut album, “Summertime ’06,” released June 2015 and was claimed to be one of the best albums of 2015 by The Guardian and Pitchfork. Local support for this show comes from Jack Harlow and Peter Wesley.

New Bravado is generally psych rock, but to be more specific they're Black Sabbath if Black Sabbath were a local band in 2016. Satellite Twin tames the more folk side of things.
