    It’s a family affair with this mother-and-son roots duo; sincere and heartfelt soulful folk.

    Wednesday (12/09)

    Clifton Center
    91.9 WFPK’s December Winter Wednesday will be an intimate evening with British singer-songwriter, Bobby Long. Plus, Louisville’s favorite bummer rock band, Quiet Hollers, will also perform. Check out our previous interview with Shadwick and the cult/gang/band here.

    The New Vintage
    Ohio band, Lovedrug, is a soft rock outfit layered with catchy pop structures. Also playing is one of Louisville's most energetic soul, R&B group, The Tunesmiths. 

    The Louisville Palace
    97.5 WAMZ and Window World of Louisville presents a country line up featuring, Chris Stapleton, Trace Adkins, Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann, Thompson Square, Brothers Osborne, Cassadee Pope, Scotty McCreery, RaeLynn, Chase Bryant, Lauren Alaina, and Brandy Clark.
     
    Zanzabar
    A night of introspective singer-songwriters. Marchant’s Springsteen-esque voice along with personal acoustic accounts provides a “mouth-to-ear intimacy.” Opening act, Heather Woods Broderick, is equally as thoughtful and haunting.

    Thursday (12/10)

    Zanzabar
    Communion Louisville brings a Nashville line-up comprised of sharp garage punk, catchy pop rock, and genre blenders. Communion Louisville is a collaborative show encouraging a mutual support music community. The shows are entwined with emerging and established artists.

    Headliners Music Hall
    A seven piece New Orleans group that can’t be pigeon holed. It’s a constant revolution of rock ‘n’ soul, country, roots, and funk.

    KFC Yum! Center
    A stadium show for the Three-time GRAMMY winners and multi-platinum artists Zac Brown Band.

    Friday (12/11)

    The Louisville Palace
    Sensual, mature R&B vocalist, Jill Scott, has an adimirable self-empowerment that's addicting. 

    Modern Cult Records
    Modern Cult Records is hosting the release party for Gubbey Record’s “Head Cleaner, A Louisville Music Compilation.”  The Compilation features 188 Louisville bands on a three cassette box set and digital download. The compilation is only available at the show.
     
    Zanzabar
    The weird and wonderful Gene and Dean Ween encapsulated in this tribute band, Spleen.
     

    Saturday (12/12)

    Headliners Music Hall
    Former member of Louisville’s Hopscotch Army, Danny Flanigan has ditched the hard rocker look and traded in for a mellower, acoustic feel.

    The New Vintage
    Midwest alternative rock, post hardcore bands all night.
