The 10-day stretch of the Kentucky State Fair usually brings a pretty good smorgasboard of talent to both the ticketed events in Freedom Hall and the free shows at the old Cardinal Stadium.  The opening night show proves that it's not all about country at the State Fair in 2009.

On the brink of releasing her fourth album, pop sensation Kelly Clarkson will perform on opening night of the Kentucky State Fair with Gavin DeGraw. an edgy singer/songwriter with pretty good penchant for hooky songs.

The new album “All I Ever Wanted” and hits from her seven-year career in the music biz will fill out Clarkson's set, including huge pop hits “A Moment Like This,” “Since U Been Gone,” “Because of You” and her recent No.1 smash hit “My Life Would Suck Without You.”

DeGraw is no stranger to the spotlight. The New York-native has been featured on the television show, “One Tree Hill,” where his song, “I Don’t Want to Be” was the show theme song. DeGraw’s third album, “Free” will be released March 31.

Tickets for this concert go on sale Monday, March 23, 2009 at 10 a.m.
