Churchill Downs announced the next giant thing to hit Louisville. The HullabaLOU music festival is slated for July 23-25 , 2010 at the hallowed grounds of Churchill Downs.
The festival looks to expand on past concert event successes including the Rolling Stones and the Police, big name bands that have appeared at the track in recent years.
“The performers scheduled to appear at HullabaLOU will instantly put the event on the map of major music festivals in the country, and be one of the top festival entertainment options in 2010,” said Quint Davis, Producer/Director of the world-famous Jazz Fest in New Orleans and consulting producer of HullabaLOU.
The event website describes the event as "A three day summer music festival July 23-25, 2010 at Churchill Downs Racetrack in Louisville, KY. Classic rock, country, adult contemporary, rock and bluegrass music from over 65 bands will be featured on five stages throughout the festival grounds."
Ticket prices range from a $60 one-day pass to a $975 3-day VIP package.
