Kentucky School of Art will be presenting the work of second-year painting students at the Gallery at Whisky Row Lofts on Thursday, May 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a show titled "Taking Painting to the Next Level".

The event is free and open to the public, showing off some of the work by Leslie Anglin, Chris Austerman, Callie Borgman, Maggie Cassaro, and Kristen Sharpe. It will offer refreshments.

This is the final chance to see or purchase the figure, landscape, interiors, and abstract paintings. All of them are for sale, but the show will be taken down after the show as the gallery prepares for an open house on May 12.

The Gallery at Whiskey Row Lofts is located at 131 West Main Street. For more information on the show, contact Sklar Smith at skylar.smith4@gmail.com or at 502-618-4600. Kentucky School of Art at Spalding University is a four-year BA program in studio art. For more information visit their web site.
