    Bit to Do

Kate Tucker and Sons of Sweden

Kate Tucker and Sons of Sweden bring their indie pop sound to the New Vintage this Thursday, Dec. 4 for a free show. Tucker's latest release, The Shape the Color the Feel, came out earlier this year, made possible by a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Tucker teams with Sons of Sweden as her band after a solo stint, but the original members from her Seattle days have mostly been replaced with an entirely new complement after her move to Nashville. Guitarist Wes Chandler, bass player Randall Scruggs, and drummer Ethan Place join original SoS keyboardist Nic Danielson in the new lineup.

Tucker and SoS produce a dreamy, atmospheric style of pretty pop inclining toward romantic melancholy. If that's your thing, check out the stylish video below of "Blue Hotel," featuring the undeniably photogenic Tucker.

Thursday's show is at 8:00 p.m. at the New Vintage located in Germantown at 2126 South Preston St. Check out the Facebook event for more details
