In the midst of their 3-game home stretch, the Louisville Lightning is happy to celebrate kids night tonight at 8 pm at Mockingbird Valley Soccer Complex as they play host to the Ohio Vortex.

Mascots will be on hand, inflatables will be in the kids zone, and there will even be a special appearance by newly-inaugurated Mayor Greg Fischer.  Also, the players will be on hand after the game for autograph an session, so be sure to stick around!

The Lightning enter tonight's game after a tough loss against the Cincinnati Kings.  Although the Lightning don't have a strong win column to brag about, they hope the hardest part of the schedule is behind them.  They've dealt with injuries throughout the season, but they know with a few lucky breaks, they're still in the hunt for a post-season run... beginning tonight against Ohio.

It's the first matchup of the season for these two teams, as the Lightning currently sit in 3rd place in the division, while the Vortex are currently in 4th place.  The Lightning hope to capitalize on their current places and pull out a victory for the home crowd.

Head on out to Mockingbird Valley Soccer Complex tonight for great soccer action, a celebration of kids, and a great chance to see our new mayor!
