    Bit to Do

Tonight is my premiere at Howl at the Moon, and I am super excited. I am joining forces with Howl at the Moon to celebrate locals with half price drinks, a free appetizer buffet, and a contest. It is great to see a venue on 4th Street Live! making the effort to connect with locals, and they are really pulling out the stops! I am honored to be the local representative and emcee the high energy show. It certainly didn’t hurt my ego that the tickets say “critically acclaimed performance artist, Divinity Rose”.

Howl at the Moon is a dueling piano bar with a talented group of musicians who take suggestions (and tips) to keep the high energy performance going all night. There is also a drum kit, electric guitar and other instruments used throughout the show.  It often gets a little wild. Don’t be surprised if you see employees dancing on top of the bars and pianos or guests dancing on the stage.

"You can't do that on piano!" is a contest which encourages guests to try to stump the pianists. The winner of the grand prize will be treated to a night on the town with dinner at Red Star Tavern, a bar tab at Howl at the Moon, and a night in a luxury hotel.

If you aren't great at thinking of obscure songs to try to stump the pianists with, you may still walk away a winner. I'll be giving out door prizes throughout the evening. In addition to the prizes, there will be pretty eye candy. Louisville's premiere burlesque troop, the Va Va Vixens, will be making an appearance to promote Va Va Vintage,  their upcoming show at the Alley Theater in November.

I hope you can join me. If you’d like to come for free, send an email to divinityroseATgmail.com, and I will give free tickets to the first ten to respond. I’d love to have you at my first emcee gig with a national chain. If you can’t make it tonight, there will be another on October 20 and November 17,2010. The show starts at 9 pm.
