    Gary Barnidge had a career day while Preston Brown had another solid game on defense. 

    Those were just a few of the highlights for Louisville natives and University of Louisville products in Week 3 of the NFL season. Here’s a quick look at how they all did:

    Barnidge (Cleveland): The eighth-year tight end had career-highs in catches (six) and yards (105) to go along with a touchdown grab in the Browns’ 27-20 loss to visiting Oakland on Sunday afternoon. Cleveland (1-2) plays at San Diego at 4:05 p.m. this Sunday.

    Josh Bellamy (Chicago): The fourth-year wide receiver played, but didn’t register a catch in the Bears’ 26-0 loss to visiting Chicago on Sunday afternoon. Chicago (0-3) hosts Oakland at 1 p.m. this Sunday.

    Teddy Bridgewater (Minnesota): The second-year quarterback completed 13 of 24 passes for 121 yards with one interception in the Vikings’ 31-14 win over visiting San Diego on Sunday afternoon. Minnesota (2-1) plays at Denver at 4:25 p.m. this Sunday.

    Jamon Brown (St. Louis): The rookie, a graduate of Fern Creek High School, started at left guard for the Rams in their 12-6 loss to visiting Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon. St. Louis (1-2) plays at Arizona at 4:25 p.m. this Sunday.

    Preston Brown (Buffalo): The second-year middle linebacker had seven total tackles, including three solos and one for loss, in the Bills’ 41-14 win at Miami on Sunday afternoon. Buffalo (2-1) hosts the New York Giants at 1 p.m. this Sunday.

    Harry Douglas (Tennessee): The seventh-year receiver had three catches for 20 yards in the Titans’ 35-33 loss to visiting Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon. Tennessee (1-2) has its bye week this week.

    Elvis Dumervil (Baltimore): The 10th-year outside linebacker started and tallied two tackles, both solos, including one sack and also forced a fumble in the Ravens’ 28-24 loss to visiting Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon. Baltimore (0-3) play at Pittsburgh at 8:25 p.m. Thursday night.

    Brandon Dunn (Chicago): The second-year defensive tackle, a Pleasure Ridge Park High School graduate and UofL product, was inactive for the Bears’ 26-0 loss to visiting Seattle on Sunday afternoon. Chicago (0-3) hosts Oakland at 1 p.m. Sunday.

    William Gay (Pittsburgh): The ninth-year cornerback had five total tackles, including three solos, in the Steelers’ 12-6 win at St. Louis on Sunday afternoon. Pittsburgh (2-1) hosts the Baltimore Ravens at 8:25 p.m. Thursday night.

    Breno Giacomini (New York Jets): The eighth-year started at right offensive tackle for the Jets in their 24-17 loss to visiting Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon. New York (2-1) plays Miami at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning in London.

    Lorenzo Mauldin (New York Jets): The rookie linebacker tallied one tackle, a solo, in the Jets’ 24-17 loss to visiting Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon. New York (2-1) plays Miami at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning in London.

    John Miller (Buffalo): The rookie started at right guard - right next to another UofL product - in the Bills’ 41-14 win at Miami on Sunday afternoon. Buffalo (2-1) hosts the New York Giants at 1 p.m. this Sunday.

    Deiontrez Mount (Tennessee): The rookie linebacker played, but didn’t record a tackle, in the Titans’ 35-33 loss to visiting Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon. Tennessee (1-2) has its bye week this week.  

    DeVante Parker (Miami): The rookie wide receiver, who was a first-round draft pick, had three catches for 46 yards in the Dolphins’ 41-14 loss to visiting Buffalo on Sunday afternoon. Miami (1-2) plays the New York Jets at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday morning in London.

    Bilal Powell (New York Jets): The fifth-year running back had 10 rushes for 31 yards and seven catches for 44 yards in the Jets’ 24-17 loss to visiting Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon. New York (2-1) plays Miami at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday morning in London.

    Calvin Pryor (New York Jets): The second-year free safety tallied six total tackles, including two solos, in the Jets’ 24-17 loss to visiting Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon. New York (2-1) plays Miami at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning in London.

    James Sample (Jacksonville): The rookie safety had four total tackles, including two solos, and one pass defended in the Jaguars’ 51-17 loss at New England on Sunday afternoon. Jacksonville (1-2) plays at Indianapolis at 1 p.m. this Sunday.

    Marcus Smith (Philadelphia): The second-year linebacker played, but didn’t record a tackle in the Eagles’ 24-17 win at the Jets on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia (1-2) plays at Washington at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

    Eric Wood (Buffalo): The seventh-year center made his 82nd consecutive start in the Bills’ 41-14 win at Miami on Sunday afternoon. Buffalo (2-1) hosts the New York Giants at 1 p.m. this Sunday.
