Step 1: Holding your 20-ounce tulip “Guinness glass” under the tap at a 45-degree angle, pull the tap handle toward you and right the glass as you fill it three-quarters full.
Step 2: Set the beer aside for two minutes to settle before topping it off. Because of the tulip-shaped glass, the beer will separate, the creamy foam rising, creating two distinct layers.
Step 3: Top it off. Place the glass upright and level. Push the tap away from you and slowly pour into the middle of the foam until it’s just a hint above the lip of the glass. Set aside as the foam forms a small dome above the lip. Enjoy your Guinness!
