Attention beer lovers (and that’s most of you, right?)! O’Shea’s, 956 Baxter Ave., is hosting Hop Week June 21–27, kicking off with a special dinner on Sunday, June 20.
The dinner will feature six courses, each paired with a specially chosen beer. From a spicy Asian crab roll (and the Kentucky debut of Three Floyd's Gumball Head) to mango peach ice cream (with a BBC Bourbon Barrel Stout reduction) to BBQ pork ribs (dry rubbed for three days, then complemented by Oaktimus from our friends at New Albany Brewing Company), there’s bound to be something to appeal to every one of your taste buds.
Not up for a big, decadent dinner? Drop by anytime during the week for a drink of any of 25 rare, hopped-up ales on tap, with intriguing names such as Brewdog Hardcore IPA, Jolly Pumpkin E.S.BAM, Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous and New Holland Existential Hop-Wine.
Tickets for the dinner are $45 and include a custom Hop Week t-shirt to remind yourself of your indulgence. Call 589-7373 for reservations, or visit
