Give Local Louisville is tomorrow, May 6. It’s a 24 hour online “Give Day” and will support over 175 local organizations doing immeasurable great work in the city of Louisville and surrounding areas.
You can donate online at www.givelocallouisville.org all day on May 6 between 12am and 12am. Every dollar will be augmented through match dollars by the Community Foundation of Louisville and its supporting sponsors LG&E and KY Energy, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kentucky, and Churchill Downs. You can help your favorite local charity win prize money as well. The Community Foundation of Louisville is hosting this online give-a-thon as a way to celebrate its 30 years of work in the Louisville community.
The hope is to raise as much money as possible within this 24 hour period. Keep up to date on social media as well; it will be all abuzz tomorrow with the 175 nonprofits.
