Any plans for this coming Thursday? If so, you had best change them, for the Younger Woman's Club of Louisville will be holding their annual "Fall Into Fabulous" fashion show at the Ice House, a former ice production and storage facility from the early 1920s that now houses retail, event and office space, with plans to build a seven-story tower meant for residential and office use in the offing.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 7 p.m. on the 27th of September, go for $45 for general admission, and $85 for VIP seating, the latter receiving access to an open bar and a special swag bag for the trouble; general admission attendees shall receive two drink tickets and a swag bag while supplies last.

This year's theme, "Shop Local," places an emphasis on the city's local fashion scene, featuring designs from participants including Les Filles Boutique, 15 Ounce Premium Denim, Sassy Fox and Crush Boutique, among others. Sponsors include Louisville Magazine (the parent company of Louisville.com), Pama (who will have a specialty drink on tap during the affair), Zen Skyn, and the aforementioned participating boutiques.

"Fall Into Fabulous" serves as the Younger Woman's Club's largest fundraiser, second only to their Annual Charity Ball; all proceeds from the fashion event will go into their 2012 - 2013 Charity Campaign fund, a resource to local non-profits in Louisville. At the 2011 gathering, over $67,000 in proceeds were collected and distributed to 20 organizations, such as the Center for Women and Families, The Healing Place, and the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.

Aside from the show itself, a Fabulous Finds auction will take place, allowing attendees an opportunity to bid on coveted items for the Charity Campaign.
