With Black Friday and Christmas around the corner, the beginning of November can only mean one thing: the frenzy that is holiday shopping is near. Luckily for you, KORE Gallery is helping you get a head start this holiday season without emptying your pockets.
KORE Gallery kicked off its first miniature art show Thursday, which features custom art pieces all under $100. From paintings to jewelry to fiber art, there’s a unique find for everyone looking to get creative this holiday season. Chickens reign supreme in the art show - yes, chickens - which provide the quirkiness that art connoisseurs and gift recipients will love.
The gallery features works by some of the gallery’s resident artists, which include Donald A. Cartwright, Deborah D. Stanley, Spike Frederick, and Uneena Jackson, and also features special guests, such as Stephanie Brown of Tenth Post Handwovens.
Located in the Mellwood Art Center, the KORE Gallery is open Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The miniature art show will last until the end of January.
Jumpstart your holiday shopping with a creative twist, and support KORE Gallery and the Mellwood Art Center while you’re at it. Sounds like a win-win to me.
