    Bit to Do

Back in June, my daughter attended a small art day camp that was hosted by her school’s art teacher. She and a handful of friends really enjoyed the 4 hours each day for a week outside at her teacher’s house. They painted, molded with clay, tie-dyed t-shirts, and created a beautiful mosaic picture frame. She entered one of the art pieces that she painted onto canvas into the local Jefferson County 4-H fair. My daughter really thrives on art and writing; I tell her all of the time that she is my “creative soul.” In Louisville, you can go anywhere throughout our great city and find wonderful art opportunities for children, teens, families, and adults as well. Here are some opps that are still available if you jump on them this week and get signed up.

The Sketchbook Project is today, Wednesday, July 10 at Mellwood Art Center. Admission and parking are free.
