Flying Lotus, born Steven Ellison, is a popular experimental, electronic musician and producer from California. His mixes are composed with computers, turntables, samplers, drum machines, synthesizers, keyboards, and multiple instruments. Currently Flying Lotus is signed to Warp Records (Aphex Twin, Grizzly Bear). If you watch Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming you've probably heard a lot of his uncredited music. His new highly anticipated album "Until the Quiet Comes" will be released in October 2012.
